FUJIKURA COMPOSITES is actively addressing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues to achieve a sustainable future. The Sustainability Management Office, which was established in 2023, is the core organization that will centralize and further strengthen our activities to date. We aim to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through our efforts in environmental protection, respect for human rights, and social actions. The Great East Japan Earthquake made us deeply aware of the importance of our employees and all other human resources, so we place importance on providing an environment where every employee can work with a sense of security. We will strive to improve employee engagement and drive growth for both our employees and the company.
In addition, we have set the highest priority on the following materiality issues: providing "safe, secure, and reliable products" through our composite technologies, and working on solving social issues. We will enhance our corporate social value and build a sustainable future together with our stakeholders by balancing technological innovation with environmental considerations.
