In order to continue our business activities under the blessings of the earth's environment, we consider climate change and environmental challenges to be key issues and carry out initiatives that support both environmental conservation and economic growth. We also aim to promote decarbonization throughout the entire value chain to achieve sustainable development of society.

Basic Philosophy
Under the blessing of the earth's environment, the FUJIKURA COMPOSITES Group is committed to supporting both environmental conservation and economic growth by conducting business activities that address various environmental challenges, including climate change, which is the most urgent problem that needs immediate attention.
We also pursue a sustainable society by promoting decarbonization throughout the entire value chain and creating new value.

To protect the earth's environment, we work toward decarbonization, resource conservation, and the creation of a circular economy, aiming for sustainable development throughout the entire value chain.

Environmental management structure
We have established an environmental management system that conforms to the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 to manage the progress of our efforts and resolve issues, led by our Central Energy Conservation and Environmental Management Committee, which oversees corporate-wide activities.

Internal audits for the environment
All departments received an audit in FY2023. Seventy percent of all departments received the highest overall rating of four.
External review
An external certification body conducted external reviews for ISO 14001:2015 in May and November in FY2023. We have maintained our certification since the certification body found no significant problems.
Targets and results for key environmental challenges
We specify key environmental challenges, set implementation items and targets for each issue, and evaluate the results. The following table shows the results for each issue in FY2023. We will intensify our efforts for FY2024 to achieve our targets through activities that reduce environmental impact and address other challenges.
Efforts toward carbon neutrality
To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, we aim to reduce CO2 emissions in FY2030 by 46% from the FY2013 level and achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
