Human rights due diligence

Our corporate group’s efforts to respect human rights are not only overseen by the General Manager of the Administration Division but also promoted mainly by the Human Resources & General Affairs Department and the Procurement Management Department. Specifically, these organizations have developed a human rights policy and are working to establish a human rights due diligence mechanism. Going forward, we will identify human rights risks that our business activities may pose to stakeholders, consider and implement corrective measures, and disclose information on the progress of these measures. Further, the Legal & Compliance Department leads the education of our corporate group’s directors and employees about human rights by disseminating the "FUJIKURA COMPOSITES Code of Conduct" through new employee training and role-specific training to promote compliance education and awareness, including respect for human rights.

Reporting and consultation desk

We have established a system for the employees of our company and business partners to report concerns about human rights, and we are working to improve the effectiveness of this system. We maintain confidentiality and protect personal information concerning reporting and will not treat whistleblowers to their disadvantage because of their reporting.

Training

In FY2023, we conducted harassment training for all employees to raise their respect for and awareness of human rights. Our legal affairs team sent a video on preventing harassment, and 940 employees watched it to better understand the topic.
